John Hagee's hate pit - or hate pulpit.
Are the Church members comfortable listening to hate sermons?
Is their silence an approval or fear?
Why is there not a revolt in the Church, when some one speaks hate and voilence in the name of Jesus? Is Christianity going to be run by the extremists as Islam is? Are these guys competing to be who is the most evil ?
Time to think

Doesn't this deserve some condemnation from our media? What does it say about McCain?

McCain's Pastor: US Should Destroy Islam
Brave New Films & Mother Jones : Since the media won't question McCain about his deeply bigoted pastor, it's up to you to call attention to this issue.
You may have heard of Rev. John Hagee, the McCain supporter who said God created Hurricane Katrina to punish New Orleans for its homosexual "sins". Well now meet Rev. Rod Parsley, the televangelist megachurch pastor from Ohio who hates Islam. According to David Corn of Mother Jones, Parsley has called on Christians to wage war against Islam, which he considers to be a "false religion".
In the past, Parsley has also railed against the separation of church and state, homosexuals, and abortion rights, comparing Planned Parenthood to Nazis. John McCain actively sought and received Parsley's endorsement in the presidential race. McCain has called Parsley "a spiritual guide", and he hasn't said whether he shares Parsley's vicious anti-Islam views. That's because the mainstream media refuses to ask.
And so, we've taken matters into our own hands, joining Mother Jones to present the truth about McCain's pastor. Since the media won't question McCain about his deeply bigoted pastor, it's up to you to call attention to this issue. Make McCain's pastor problem a major story by forwarding this video to your family, friends, and colleagues. We can't let McCain get away with aligning himself with a religious leader who's called for an all-out war on Islam, someone who draws no distinctions between Muslims and violent Islamic extremists. Now is the crucial time to act.

ReplyDeleteIM AMAZED,ALOTT OF PEOPLE BELIVE OBOMA IS SOMEKIND OF LIVING GOD. THE TRUTH IS HE IS A POLTICAN ******** THE ALL LIE*** WAKE UP! IF HAGEY SUPPORTS MACAIN AND WHICHES TO PREACH OBAMA IS DOING THE WRONG THINGS THEN SO BE IT,IS THIS STILL AMERICA? HAGEY IS A bigoted? THERE ARE ALOTT OF bigotes so what!at least epeople has a clear understanding where hes coming from and isnt a wolf in disguise.
ReplyDeleteAll this hollering Hagee does about sin, and HE's the one who left his first wife and kids to go start a new family with the woman he committed adultery with. Seems like Hagee should be yelling at the man in the mirror.
ReplyDeleteIf you have ever divorced a spouse, lied, cheated, or committed any other sin, then you have no right to judge John Hagee. He is human and ALL humans make mistakes. ALL humans sin. That is why Jesus came to the earth and gave His life. John Hagee has just as much right to be forgiven of his sins as you do. He has asked for forgiveness and received it. Have you?
DeleteHe is not "hollering about sin" as you put it. He is preaching the bible which is exactly what he is supposed to do as a pastor and he is preaching to himself just as much as he is preaching to his congregation. We all have to take a good look in the mirror, yourself included, because none of us is without sin. Only God has the right to judge.
About Hagee's adulterous acts, proof that we ARE humans and very fallable. The Satan surely preys upon our weaknesses. God forgives all whom repent and are 'born again'. As far as 'waging war on Islam', the New Testament proclaims, 'I am the way, the truth, and the light. NO ONE comes to the father except through me'. With that being said, Jesus also says, 'love thine enemies and forgive them'. If we are attacked, yes, we should defend. And Islam IS a fraud, but we must preach and teach the gospel to 'prove all things'. Simple? Not at all. That is why we can read about the horrible end times we someday face. Horrible from a human-life viewpoint, glorious from a true-Christian viewpoint. The argument can wage on-and-on. We as humans cannot even phathom the glory and power of God almighty. We are weak flesh.... GOD bless ALL!
ReplyDeleteIn the end days, there will be many people who revolt against the leaders of the church and Christ...this is written in the Bible. These blogs are not shocking to me at all; they are a confirmation that the time is near at hand for Christ' return! It is also spoken in the Bible that many are deceived in those final days, for they are lost and know not their way...for they do not know Christ or the Bible. The time for Christians to try and reach these people through teaching salvation is OVER. Now is the time for all Christians to prepare themselves for the end days, as it is prescribed for them in the Bible. No more arguments, no more rebuttals, no more defenses...they will find out soon enough.
ReplyDeletePastor John Hagee is an excellent preacher/teacher of the Word of God. What has been said about "divorcing his first wife" and marrying another is entirely between him and God, and not us. His command is to preach the Gospel, the Good News, and to warn us in these last days about what is to come and how we are to prepare for it, according to the Bible. The bottom line is Pastor Hagee avails himself as a conduit through which the Holy Spirit speaks. You can do one of two things, you can decide not to listen to what he's saying, or you can choose to listen, be informed, accept what is being taught and act on it. Remember, the Bible states that "It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this, the judgement."You cannot prevent death, my brother, my sister. Can you? Absolutely not!!!! You are going to die one day, there are no two ways about it. "...and after that the judgement." Now the Bible says that we are going to die, and I think we can all agree that we do die. What makes YOU think that the latter half of the verse is not true, since we all agree that the first part is certainly. true. Just because you don't believe any of this, doesn't make it not true. Remember, eternity is forever. God does not force us against our will. You can accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior and live for Him, or reject Him as Lord and Savior and spend eternity in hell with Satan and his angels. The choice is yours. No one is forcing Christ on you. As has been stated, you can choose or refuse. THE CHOICE IS YOURS. That being said, Rev. Hagee is not forcing anything on you. You don't have to listen. But I can tell you this, He is proclaiming the truth. The fact that you don't agree with him is entirely your prerogative. Be careful how you speak against the man of God; You don't want the bears to eat you up.
ReplyDeleteSold out for Christ!!!
I have never heard John Hagee say that "God created Hurricane Katrina to punish New Orleans for its homosexual sins." John Hagee knows the bible therefore he knows that God does not "create" things to "punish" people for their sins. God will sometimes "allow" something to happen, instead of preventing it, in order to warn his children that they have gotten too far away from Him. He warns those He loves in order to save them from destruction. He does not "punish" us for sins because Jesus already took the punishment for our sins. He warns those who have not accepted His forgiveness through the sacrifice of His son because anyone who has not accepted Christ as Savior will not make it into Heaven. If you reject His forgiveness then your sin remains...and if your sin remains, how can you be allowed into a sinless Heaven? It would be wise for you to focus your energy on your own salvation rather than focusing it on twisting the words of a pastor.
