John Hagee

Amazing support for his hate speeches. It is incredible

Hagee on Hurricane Katrina
"All hurricanes are acts of God because God controls the heavens. I believe that New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God and they were recipients of the judgment of God for that." [NPR Fresh Air, 9/18/06]

Hagee on Islamic Beliefs
Fresh Air host Terry Gross asked if Hagee believed that "all Muslims have a mandate to kill Christians and Jews," to which Hagee replied, "Well, the Quran teaches that. Yes, it teaches that very clearly." [NPR Fresh Air, 9/18/06]

Hagee on African-Americans
The San Antonio Express-News reported that Hagee was going to "meet with black religious leaders privately at an unspecified future date to discuss comments he made in his newsletter about a 'slave sale,' an East Side minister said Wednesday." The Express-News reported:

"Hagee, pastor of the 16,000-member Cornerstone Church, last week had announced a 'slave sale' to raise funds for high school seniors in his church bulletin, 'The Cluster.'

"The item was introduced with the sentence 'Slavery in America is returning to Cornerstone" and ended with "Make plans to come and go home with a slave." [San Antonio Express-News 3/7/96]

Hagee on Catholicism
"Most readers will be shocked by the clear record of history linking Adolf Hitler and the Roman Catholic Church in a conspiracy to exterminate the Jews." [Jerusalem Countdown by John Hagee]

Hagee on Women
"Do you know the difference between a woman with PMS and a snarling Doberman pinscher? The answer is lipstick. Do you know the difference between a terrorist and a woman with PMS? You can negotiate with a terrorist." [God's Profits: Faith, Fraud and the Republican Crusade for Values Voters, Sarah Posner]

"[T]he feminist movement today is throwing off authority in rebellion against God's pattern for the family." ["Bible Positions on Political Issues," John Hagee]

Hagee on LGBT Americans
"The newspaper carried the story in our local area that was not carried nationally that there was to be a homosexual parade there on the Monday that the Katrina came. And the promise of that parade was that it was going to reach a level of sexuality never demonstrated before in any of the other Gay Pride parades. So I believe that the judgment of God is a very real thing. I know that there are people who demur from that, but I believe that the Bible teaches that when you violate the law of God, that God brings punishment sometimes before the day of judgment." [NPR Fresh Air, 9/18/06]

Hagee on Iran
"The coming nuclear showdown with Iran is a certainty," Hagee wrote [in 2006] in the Pentecostal magazine Charisma. "Israel and America must confront Iran's nuclear ability and willingness to destroy Israel with nuclear weapons. For Israel to wait is to risk committing national suicide." [The Nation, 8/8/2006, http://www.thenation.com/doc/20060814/new_christian_zionism]

  10. Have the naysayers ever read the Bible? Everything Pastor Hagee speaks is TRUTH! The media and the critics DO NOT do their homework before giving way to "diarrhea of the mouth."

And while we still have freedom of speech, I want Pastor Hagee to talk more and more and tell the truth. Maybe just one hate-monger will be touched by God and turned to Jesus for Salvation. Of course we won't hear about it because it won't be reported by the main street media. God loves me and He loves you!!!

  12. John Hagee is an awesome man of God.He does not bite his tongue and teache God's word for the way it is to be taught.Too bad that most preachers today in the pulpit do not teach God's word the way it needs to be and yet they skimper around certain subjects to avoid offending. That's called "watered down" preaching. Keep it up Pastor Hagee,I enjoy your sermons and hearing the truth even if my toes hurt later!!!

  13. I, Brian Hampton profess that Our Lord & Savior
Jesus Christ is LORD. All you who mock him, and
His Church is nothing new to us. I've been explaining to my family for over 30 years what
would happen to America, that the people would
turn their backs on God and make war with Christians & Jews, especially Israel. Your time
to get right with God is short, put down your sword, take a deep breath and see yourselves for what you are. Without GOD!

  17. The only one that i am important too is my savior. My bible and my savior are my most treasured things. Any thing else of material means has no importance.I can say with all honesty that god has answered prayer after prayer and has been with me each and every day and night since my birth until now. Each day and night I can look around and find god and all his great works Pastor Hagee is part of gods work and He fits very well in gods layed out plans for mankind.Walk not in fear,Walk in faith, be the change you wish to see in the world and love the lord with all your heart.

  18. That fat POS is nothing more than a typical right wing Hyppocrite that wraps himself in the flag and the cross. Too bad his sop called church was not decimated by a tornado!

  20. While I'm not a regular listener of the Hagee radio or tv shows, from what I've heard Id say there's very little from Pastor Hagee that I find in any way out of line with the clear teaching of the Word. I sometimes think he emphasizes prosperity too much (Jesus had no home and lived an itinerate lifestyle...some of the most spiritual Christians come from very unprosperous parts of the world-- ask any missionary).

But certainly he is to be congratulated in siding with the right of Israel to exist! Yes, despite the 'spin', that's really what's at stake here. What's not being reported in the media today is that the radical elements driving these so-called 'peace talks' openly advocate that they are against the very EXISTENCE of Israel! In fact, the Muslim cleric who's the mentor of the leader of Iran has openly called for Muslims to dutifully MURDER all Jews--every man, woman and child!

    THAT'S NOT HATE SPEECH?

You who attack Hagee on this site need to take inventory. Is it "hate" to say that God brings judgment upon a people for the ubiquitous presence they profligate and/or tolerate in their society? News flash-- GOD JUDGES!

What you seem to be blind to is that it doesn't mean that everyone affected is being judged... there are many millions who won't deserve the national judgement coming upon this nation-- were all the victims of 911 worthy of judgement that day? Bottom line: God is completely fair and completely willing to forgive. The final judgment (on that Day of Judgment) will be the great equalizer of all justice--His scale of balances is absolutely true. So while life might seem so unfair at times, those of faith of necessity know that God is completely fair.

So we can't go on appearances... it's simply simple-minded to say that because a tornado kills 100 people that they were all worthy of judgment. There are a hundred reasons for those deaths, of which worthiness of it may not bear as much weight as other reasons. So just as it's ridiculous to read God's judgment into all natural occurences, it is equally simple-minded to say that God is too loving to judge, or that declaring that God does use natural occurences to bring judgment is tantamount to 'hate speech'.

I'm confident enough in Hagee to say that he himself would never assert that all those affected in Katrina were depraved sinners! Many were simply complacent with the presence of sin in their midst. And many other relatively
'innocent' people have lost their lives or the lives of loved ones in catastrophic conditions, or times of wars. But our faith as Christians is in the character of God. He is completely fair, and this will be made absolutely clear on the Day of Judgment, when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of the Father.

No, Hagee is simply stating that God does bring judgment upon peoples to call them to repentance. Better now than on J-Day, where no repentance is possible.

And how hateful of me to have asserted all of the above. Tolerance of falsehood and rebellion (sin) is no virtue...intolerance of it no vice.

  21. I have always thought religion and nationalism have brought more misery to this world than anything else. It's clear to me that John Hagee certainly validates my belief in the former. It's bad enough that he actually believes what he espouses. What is more disturbing, are all of the narrow-minded,bible-thumping, non-questioning bigots in this posting who believe it, as well.
